By accepting this quote, you are agreeing to the quoted work on the date agreed. 

Deposit

A deposit is required to secure your booking with Shades Wraps Ltd. Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

If you need to make any changes or cancel your booking, you must notify us before this four-weeks prior to your scheduled start date. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.

  • For standard bookings, a deposit of up to 25% is required.

  • For bookings using Flexishield, TechWrap or Inozetek materials, the deposit will cover the full cost of materials, and this amount will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.

Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your booking, please notify Shades Wraps Ltd as soon as possible.
Cancellations made within two weeks of your booking date may not be eligible for a refund of the deposit.

Please note that Flexishield, TechWrap and Inozetek materials are imported from overseas and are ordered well in advance of the two-week period.
Before placing the order for these materials, Shades Wraps Ltd will contact you to confirm that you wish to proceed — this serves as your final opportunity to make any changes.

If you cancel after the materials have been ordered, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs, which are typically around £500 + VAT.

Fitting Warranty 

All vehicle wraps will come with a 2-year fitting warranty from the handover date excluding TechWrap and Inozetek, who’s warranties are 1-year. This warranty covers peeling and shrinking. Shades Wraps Ltd do not guarantee any paintwork that is not from factory. Shades Wraps Ltd will be able to test this by using their paint depth gauge. Shades Wraps Ltd do not guarantee vehicles that have had any type of coating prior to the wrap. If your vehicle has had a coating Shades Wraps Ltd must be notified, it can be arranged for the coating to be removed in-house.

Use of Images and Videos for Promotional Purposes

By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you acknowledge that Shades Wraps Ltd may take photographs and videos of your vehicle during PPF/Wrap/Dechrome/Tint services. These images and videos may be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, website content, and other marketing materials. We will ensure that vehicle registration plates are covered or obscured in all promotional content. If you prefer not to have your vehicle featured in such media, please specify your preference in the booking notes, and we will respect your decision.

Wrapping 

It is very important to remember that wrap is not a factory finish, it is aftermarket and is defined as a temporary colour change. No vehicle’s paint is perfect even when new. Any paint imperfections will be highlighted even the smallest bit of dust in the paint will show in the wrap. You must inspect the vehicle following completion of the work before you leave the premises, Shades Wraps Ltd will not be held liable for any damage claims after the vehicle has left the facility. Shades Wraps Ltd requires you to return with the vehicle for an inspection within 30-days of collection. This is to make sure everything is still perfect and that there are no fitting issues or potential problems. Failure to do so will void your warranty. The vehicle will need to be clean to do this.

PPF (Paint Protection Film)

Shades Wraps Ltd PPF warranty covers fitting only as described above. Most manufactures cover their materials with a warranty against yellowing, cracking, and shrinking. You may see water bubbles under the PPF – this is normal, it just takes time to dry out. PPF is not designed to allow for abuse, it is to stop small stone chips and natural elements from reaching your paintwork. PPF must be installed onto the paint itself, any coatings under the PPF will void any warranties as it is not a suitable substrate. Shades Wraps Ltd recommend having the vehicle detailed beforehand, this is available in-house. 

Stripping the vehicle

Vehicles will leave in the same condition as they arrive, Shades Wraps Ltd do not replace broken clips or damaged nuts and bolts unless it has been broken during the strip. All vehicles are checked for error codes when they arrive prior to stripping. Shades Wraps Ltd do not reset codes, any that are present upon  arrival will still be there upon collection. Shades Wraps Ltd are not responsible for items that are not fitted to the manufacturer’s standard.

If items have had improper fitting, been glued on or screwed on, these will not be fitted back onto the vehicle. 

Window/windscreen Tints 

The LEGAL limit for front window tints is 30% this lets 70% of light through and the LEGAL limit for a windscreen is 25% so must let at least 75% of light through. Shades Wraps Ltd do not take responsibility if you pick a tint that is not legal for road use. There is no limit for the rear windows. See government website for window tint laws.

Window tints need time to dry out. This can take over 30 days in colder climates so please be patient and don’t panic. 

DO NOT roll your windows down for a minimum of five days as this can peel the tint off. Shades Wraps Ltd will not fix or replace your tints under warranty if they have reason to believe this is the case. 

These window tints sit on top of the glass (inside) and are an aftermarket option so sometimes there may be microscopic dust particles even with all the necessary precautions.

Wrap removal 

Shades Wraps Ltd do not accept any liabilities or responsibilities for the removal of old vinyl as occasionally this can peel paint or damage lacquer unexpectedly although this is very rare, Shades Wraps Ltd must make you aware.
